At the Sickle Cell Association of The Gambia, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by SCD. This year, our focus is on enhancing early diagnosis and improving access to care. Thanks to the generous donation of HemotypeSC Sickle Cell test kits from ECOMED Scientific Limited, we are screening adolescents and youths across The Gambia. Early detection is crucial in managing SCD effectively and reducing its incidence.
