At the Paediatric Department of Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to children. A key component of this care is the availability and functionality of essential medical equipment. Devices such as pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators, and CPAP machines play a crucial role in monitoring and supporting our young patients.
Why Is This Important?
- Pulse Oximeters measure the oxygen levels in a patient's blood and are essential for detecting hypoxemia early.
- Oxygen Concentrators provide a steady supply of oxygen to patients with respiratory issues.
- CPAP Machines help infants and children with breathing difficulties, ensuring they receive the necessary air pressure to keep their airways open.
Maintaining these devices is critical, yet some of them cannot be repaired by EFSTH due to technical constraints. To keep these life-saving tools operational, we need your support.
Estimated Cost: 11,000 Dalasis
Your generous donation will directly contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of these essential medical devices, ensuring that we can continue to offer the best possible care to our young patients. Every Dalasi counts and makes a significant difference in the lives of the children we serve.
